Belvoir Rail Showcases Smart Tech at Rail Live 2025

You may have spotted us at Rail Live 2025 - the UK’s largest outdoor rail exhibition, held on June 18–19 at the Porterbrook Rail Innovation Centre in Long Marston.

The two-day event attracted thousands of rail professionals from across the sector, offering live demonstrations, industry-led talks, and a chance to explore innovation zones both ‘On Track’ and ‘Off Track’.

We showcased our latest inspection solutions, including robot inspection dogs and Fotokite – an autonomous tethered drone designed for real-time monitoring. Both are already helping to reduce manual inspection time
and improve efficiency and safety outcomes in challenging environments.

Visitors to the stand included operators, engineers, and infrastructure teams, many of whom were keen to see the inspection dogs and drone in action and discuss how the tech could fit into live operations.

As a long-standing supporter of STEM engagement, we were also proud to welcome young visitors from the Primary Engineer programme, which we sponsor to help inspire early interest in engineering and technology.

It was a stand that drew interest from every corner of the industry, from future engineers to those deploying technology in the field today.

James Brown, Managing Director at Belvoir Rail, said:

“It was another hugely successful year for us at Rail Live. We had hundreds of people visit the stand, and it was a great chance to show how we stand out by focusing on technology that delivers real value on the ground.”

With high footfall, warm weather, and strong interest across the stand, the event provided an opportunity to connect directly with those shaping the future of the rail industry.
