Belvoir Rail was proud to join Network Rail and our sub brand NextGen Ri at the Armed Forces & Emergency Services Day in Weston-super-Mare on 21 June.
As a company with strong ties to these communities, through colleagues, friends, and family members who serve or have served, we’re proud to support and recognise the essential work they do.
The event, held on the seafront, welcomed thousands of visitors and featured military parades, displays and stands. We brought along some of our robots to demonstrate how this technology is being developed to support both rail and emergency response operations.
The day provided a valuable platform for both Belvoir Rail and NextGen Ri to showcase how robotics technology is being developed to support their respective sectors. For Belvoir Rail, this means improving safety and efficiency in critical rail infrastructure. For NextGen Ri, it involves supporting emergency response teams operating in high-risk or time-sensitive environments.
Robotics is just one way we can enhance situational awareness, reduce human risk, and drive smarter decision-making.
These systems are built to navigate complex and potentially dangerous environments, collect high-value data, and help keep both rail workers and frontline responders safe. The event gave us the opportunity to share how emerging technologies like robotics can meaningfully support those who put themselves at risk every day.
